Pleas from the Pleorama

by Sophia Potter

Sophia fell to hell

when cast from heaven

Her father said she was a brat

and threw her to

the city rats

She met St. Patrick

he was long

she met the Piper

he was gone

Daddy, dear,

I have no fear

father, please, oh send him here

The demons laughed

they heard her pleas

and cursed her to

a swarm of bees

And the moon

she came too close

and turned her daughter

to a ghost
